Independence Day Party - A Day To Celebrate National Freedom with Kids and Adults
An Annual celebration held each year on July 4, 1776, the date the Declaration of Independence was signed by Thomas Jefferson, assisted by John Adams, Benjamin Franklin, Roger Sherman and Robert Livingston, all members of the Continental Congress, An Independence Day Party is a holiday dedicated to celebrating our most basic inalienable rights. Every year, Americans don the red white and blue colors that are symbolic of the United States of America. We wave flags, we picnic, and we watch fireworks when the sun goes down and the night time sky lights up with flashes of light symbolic of the bombs bursting in air of which Frances Scott Key wrote in our National Anthem, “The Star Spangled Banner”.
